Presiman Designs have many years of experience in fabric design, printing and manufacturing, along with upholstery and many more bespoke interior design projects involving beautiful textiles. Now they have created a new way of designing and buying fabric. They work with many talented artists who can create unique and even completely bespoke designs. With Presiman Designs expertise and services, these designs can be printed in the colours you want and printed on a choice of their 7 quality house fabrics from their base in Guyhirn, Wisbech.

Eleanor is excited to be able to offer the opportunity for bespoke fabric designs (and much more!) from her artwork for her customers, with the services of Presiman Designs.
THE STORY
​
A couple of years ago, one of Eleanor's customers commissioned a series of seasonal hare pieces. These were only destined to be framed and for the walls of her home. However, following this, Eleanor was approached by the same customer to create some further illustrations that could then be printed onto fire retardant velvet and used to upholster the back of a pair of beautiful fire side chairs that an upholster friend was making for her.
This conversation led to the introduction between Eleanor and Angela from Presiman Designs, and how this creative collaboration has emerged. Here are the chairs, the left is the chair featuring the original commissioned illustration specifically for the chairs in mind, the right design had the moon in the background transposed to help the colours blend in with our customer's colour scheme and make the pair of armchairs a matching duo.
Following this, other fabric design options were discussed. Eleanor sent Angela a handful of existing illustrations, and using her design magic the following designs were created and we are very excited to offer these to order for our customers' homes...
Angela's mission is to create a new way of buying fabrics, where customers can have whatever design style they want, in the colour palette of their choice and then printed onto the fabric that is right for the project. This is so exciting; how many times have you had to compromise on your fabric choice because the image you have in your head just does not exist? We all have experienced this, but there is no need to anymore.
Another joint project is this Safari themed nursery. A specific brief was given for a customer's nieces’ new babies’ room. Eleanor created the original illustrations, which now decorate the wall. Angela and her team turned these illustrations into a bespoke fabric design before creating bunting, blinds and upholstering this special feature chair.

This design looks so wonderful in the nursery, don’t you agree?
Our customers were absolutely delighted with the products. Angela and her team make up so many wonderful things from the fabrics they create but the fabrics themselves are also available to buy too.
Our customer had one more request, something a little more grown up for her own living space to go with her Peacock and Pomegranate themed sunroom. Again, Eleanor undertook the artwork brief and Angela transferred it onto fabric, this time, taking some of the design apart and rebuilding it to create a wonderful supporting fabric design that both complemented the main image but also allowing it to sing. The end result is absolutely glorious.

Angela has been surprising Eleanor throughout their partnership with the fabric design possibilities from her artwork, many by adding background colour, transforming her illustrations.
Behind the scenes, Angela had been working on a new bespoke design brief for a customer. Following a discussion and permission to use a range of Eleanor's wildlife pieces, Angela created this beautifully dramatic design.

This journey and the designs that they have created together are incredible, they will all be added to Eleanor's website very soon so that you can purchase them on wonderful velvets or fabulous cottons as fabric by the metre for you to sew yourself or in some wonderful home furnishings made by Angela and her fantastic team.
Eleanor is thrilled to be on board and is a firm advocate of their ethos that you can have whatever design you want, in your choice of colour palette and then printed on a fabric that is perfect for your project.
